Jewels for the Journey
Our Story
It began at the kitchen table not as a plan, but as time shared between my mother and me.
Late nights, endless cups of tea, beads scattered between us, and conversations that meant everything (and sometimes nothing at all).
We laughed more than we crafted. Some nights, stringing even a few beads felt like a victory. But it was never really about what we made, it was about the moments woven into each piece.
My dad would often stay up with us too, keeping the kettle going and filling the room with stories from his life and travels. We had heard them before, but somehow they were always better each time. It was joyful, beautiful chaos and the beads could wait.
I’m Katerina Eleftheria, named for my parents - my mother’s strength and soul, and my father, whose name means freedom.
That sense of freedom became my compass long before I understood it, the freedom to feel deeply, create instinctively, bend rules, and design from the heart.
I’m self-taught, guided by curiosity and a deep love for creating. Born and raised in South Africa, shaped by my Greek heritage, I grew up between two cultures, both rich in warmth, expression, and storytelling.
When those nights became memories, returning to that table felt natural a way to keep creating, remembering, and honouring what we shared. That’s where Soulcrafted Jewels began.
Today, I work with a thoughtful mix of new, vintage, and repurposed materials treasures gathered from travels, small shops, and pieces from my mother’s own collection, brought back to life and reimagined into something new.
Giving old materials new purpose feels natural my way of honouring the past, creating for the present, and doing my part for the planet.
Every piece is handmade with intention. Each one carries a memory, a story, a moment waiting to become part of yours.
Thank you for being here, and for becoming part of the journey as these stories continue with you.
With love,
